Summer of '24

Those were the best days of my life

Hey, I'm Joseph Jojoe. I'm a college freshman determined to do something with my life.

I've turned down all my internships, booked a flight to San Francisco, and I'm going to spend the entire summer building new things and meeting great people.

What did I do?

Crashed in a bunch of places: North Beach, the Mission, Berkeley
Visited cool people and events: hackathons, hacker houses, hackers' houses
Made a ton of friends and hosted cool events
Won an Emergent Ventures grant for my AI work
Built a no-code A/B testing tool to help rapidly iterating designers
Developed zero-shot image labeling with transformers and captioning models
Increased throughput on vision model training with semantic compression
Speedran C++ by working through a ray tracing course
